Needed to update our front siding to bring the house into this century and Johnson County Siding delivered. They were in and out in a few days with good project coordination and communication. Every time I stepped outside to look at the progress, the workers asked if I had any questions and took the time to walk me through how/why they install things certain ways. As you can see in the photos, they really put new life into the house and it looks so much better. Would highly recommend their siding services.

I discovered Johnson County Siding & Window Co. at a home show in the area. It was easy to set a quote appointment (and reschedule it when I had to) for replacement home windows. Our salesperson was efficient but also answered all of our questions. He was not pushy and did not pressure us with a "you only get this lowest price if you buy today" tactic. In fact, he adjusted the bid many times along the way as we asked to see different options, consider different payment plans, etc. The installation was rescheduled from its original date, but all of the interactions with company representatives were pleasant and helpful. There was a bit of a miscommunication regarding financing needs, but, again, everyone was polite and helpful as we worked through that. The installation crew was just as polite and efficient, and they communicated with us throughout the day of our installation. The house was clean when they left, and we only had to do some follow-up cleaning that I would describe as normal and expected following a home project like window installation. We still have some home projects on the horizon, and we plan to work with Johnson County Siding & Window Co. in the future.

It was time to get rid of the builder's grade sliding door leading to our patio. The project began with calling three companies with product lines we'd be interested in having installed. Of the three companies, two were high pressure sales. One even stated that all deals would be off the table if I didn't sign up then. The salesman for Johnson County Siding and Window listened to what we wanted and discussed the needs of replacing the sliding door, adding a transom window, and talking about what that would mean both inside and outside the house. Additionally, they do NOT contract out labor. Instead, their crews are part of their business.This job was a challenge and a test of going with the flow for Johnson County Siding and Window and us from the beginning. The transom window arrived broken. Clearly the finishing nails in the factory were put in too close to the glass ultimately cracking it. Then the door had to literally be built. We had a discussion with Johnson County Siding and Window to go ahead and install the door and broken transom which was a measured specifically for our needs), and then to order a replacement transom window. When cutting out the wall for the framing, we found a wire going over the door where the transom window was to be inserted. No problem, Johnson County Siding and Window has connections with a fantastic electrician in the area. As luck would have it, an appointment cancelled, and the electrician showed up in great time to fix the wiring situation. The crew worked long and hard to get the door built and put in. They did a great job painting the outside and putting in a new outer header over the door that matched the header size over the windows. Nice attention to detail.Where you really need to evaluate a company is on their follow through with issues. Johnson County Siding and Window did an exemplary job with all issues that arose. Getting the replacement transom window took quite a bit of time. This was not due to Johnson County Siding and Window. Instead, due to the door company's distributor. We also felt something was a bit off with the door. Johnson County Siding and Window helped set us up with a company warranty specialist. The specialist noticed the door weather stripping was installed incorrectly. No worries. Johnson County Siding and Window made it right.Bottom line, if you find a company that maintains its own crews (no contracting), has contacts in the area to handle surprises (most construction work has at least one surprise), a willingness to answer your questions/calls/concerns, and stands behind their work, this is a company you should hire. Throughout the entire process, Trista was incredible. As we dealt with every hiccup, she was my go-to person. Donny was great handling the fixes, and the initial crew was hard working and kept a clean worksite.Would I go back to Johnson County Siding and Window? You bet! They stand behind their products and work. This is a company you can trust to make sure the job is done correctly, and the customer is satisfied.

We own a 38 year old detached building that is both a garage and storage area. This building survived well over the years despite never getting much attention from previous owners. For example, the siding was rotting in places, the windows were archaic and leaking, the garage door was warped, and the entry doors were rusting. We contracted with JoCo Siding & Window to replace everything on the exterior. Since the building is prominent to our landscape, we decided to remodel it with the best materials. And this is where choosing a quality contractor makes a difference. The proper application and installation of material is just as important as the material itself. JoCo Siding contractors did an expert job on every phase of this project, meeting our high expectations and sometimes exceeding them. This is a 5-star company.

Absolutely beautiful work on my home - we had an almost entire exterior remodel including siding, stonework, doors, and windows. The team worked hard to help us bring our vision to reality and it turned out even better than the 3D renderings (which I highly recommend). Our house went from drab and neglected to one of the most beautiful in the neighborhood. We get compliments all the time on how wonderful it looks. The upstairs room no longer needs an additional a/c unit with the window replaced and the James hardy siding has brought the heat in the attic down noticeably, our energy savings are already noticeable. Highly recommend this group and would work with them again! We plan to have a few more doors and windows replaced in the near future and will be repeat customers for sure.

Update 2/15/23: We wanted to give an update to our earlier review. We called Johnson County Siding & Windows when we noticed some minor air infiltration on several of the windows they had installed during the coldest days this winter. They came out to do an evaluation within 2 days and said they would come back when the weather warmed. They were true to their word! They were back out this week and worked to ensure that the air leaks were taken care of. Lynn & Kenneth did a great job- very thorough, made sure to discuss what needed to be done & did a great job cleaning up. Nick, the supervisor, came out as well to discuss the job with us and to ensure we were happy with the results. Absolutely recommend this company- They do a fantastic job and stand by their work!We cannot say enough about our recent experience with JoCo Siding & Windows! We recently bought a home and were a little overwhelmed to learn we needed to replace all 31 windows. We decided to hire JoCo after receiving about 5 estimates, not because they were the cheapest, but because of the amazing reviews and quality of their products. From the first to the last, they have been professional and great to work with. Steve provided the estimate and information from several follow-up questions we had and was responsive and timely. Nick came out to measure and ensure that everything was on the order that we had discussed, answering all of our questions and providing great information on the installation process (which also sets them apart in how they ensure the windows are well- sealed). We could not have been more pleased with Donny and his crew (Casey, Lynn, Nick & William)- they came every day on time, worked hard the whole day for the week plus it took to install, were always professional and informative, and left everything clean both as they went and at the end of each day. They were amazing to watch, both in their efficiency but also their precision in ensuring everything was installed perfectly- level, etc. Nick came out daily to check on the progress and to answer any questions we had. And to top it off, Ryan (manager?) came out the last day to ensure everything was perfect for us, even bringing a gift basket! All that said, we did find a couple of small holes in a few screens a few days later and called- Nick came that day to pick them up to repair them- Amazing service! Recommend JoCo without reservation!

We had a great experience with JOCO Window. Everyone from the office, sales, installers and project managers made everything super easy and made me feel comfortable with the process. Being a Project Manager myself, I was impressed with the installers. They took the time to explain different things to me regarding install, operation, etc. They also took the time to try and minimize the mess as much as possible, laying down drop cloths, using the shop vac while making cuts, sweeping and microfiber mopping our hardwood floors when done and doing the best clean up outside they could while there was snow on the ground. They also found a huge gap in material that was letting cold air come right in the house making it extremely drafty in our kitchen.I have no issues recommending them to my friends.

We highly recommend Johnson County Siding! They recently installed Hardie board on the wood gables, soffits & enclosed porches of our 45-year-old brick ranch. Jeremy, Nicholas & Ryan are great. They were clear in explaining what would happen on the project & answered our questions promptly. Cesar directed the siding team and reviewed their progress at least once a day, also checking to see if we had any questions or concerns. The siding team was a pleasure to watch as they were very organized and took great care in measuring and installing the material. They were quiet (no shouting, loud music, etc.) and kept the work area clean and tidy. The painting and gutter teams were also very professional. The project took several days and Nicholas was outstanding in co-ordinating the work teams and materials. We were so pleased with the Hardie project that we hired JoCo Siding again to replace our windows.They replaced our 16 drafty (even with storm windows) wood double-hung grid windows with Marvin Essential casement windows. The windows are beautiful and our home is more comfortable. We were concerned about the difficulty of installation on our 45-year-old brick ranch. However, after Johnson County Siding did such a great job on an earlier project, we were confident they would do well with the windows. Jeremy, Nicholas & Ryan were again clear in explaining what would happen on the project & answered our questions promptly. Jeremy was very helpful and patient as we explored the costs and features of various manufactuers and window types. Rosie and Jonathan methodically removed the old windows & meticulously installed the new windows. They were friendly and very considerate as they worked both inside and outside the house—they did fantastic! The project took a few days and Nicholas was again outstanding in co-ordinating the work and materials. We are very satisfied and would use Johnson County Siding for any future project.

Great experience from the bidding process all the way to the final walk around after completion of the job. They had a middle of the pack bid they weren't the cheapest or most expensive. Woodpeckers had destroyed one side of our house. Joco Window and Siding installed JamesHardie siding on our house so woodpeckers won't be a problem for us anymore. The timeline on completing the job was accurate. They work efficiently and clean up everyday. One storm window was cracked when it was getting reinstalled. They repaired it and brought it back in a timely manner. I totally recommend Johnson County Window and Siding!

Investing and researching siding options and companies was a decision I spent months researching and saving up for.I received 4+ estimates and honestly thought joco siding and windows would be out of my budget.Steve came out quickly and did a great job explaining everything regarding Hardie siding installation and what options were available with the trim and colors. He also mentioned that they offered 0% interest financing for 18mos. Their estimate not only came in lower then the others but it included more sq footage and more options based on the needs of our house.Lynn stopped by and made sure I understood the financing and the contract regarding the work to be completed.Laura helped coordinate scheduling and worked with us to make sure the dates and installation would be as convenient as possible for us. She was able to work around work conflicts and made sure I knew when supplies would be delivered as well as when install would begin. She always helped answer questions quickly and passed on a message to the team if there were more specific questions.Nicholas was on site with the crew on day 1 and made sure everyone was on the same page and that everything started smoothly. He answered any questions or concerns I had regarding what I needed to do during this process.The crew put in very long hrs on very hot days and Nicholas was there to check on progress and make sure it ran smoothly.When installation was finished Nicholas and the joco siding owner stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with the entire process from beginning to completion.For a big home improvement investment like this, I Definitely recommend JoCo Siding and Windows!! Working with Johnson County Siding & Windows was a pleasure. They delivered high quality work swiftly for a reasonable price and were respectful of my home.When Kevin came by to provide the estimate it was a great experience. He looked at our windows, explained a few removal/installation options, and answered all my questions within 20 minutes. Compare that to one of his competitors who took 90 minutes before we had to bluntly end the estimate because our son's bedtime had already past. Kevin did a great job of telling me the high points, no dog and pony show necessary, just the facts. He emailed the estimate a couple days later. No negotiation or haggling, the price was the price and it came in much lower that his competitors...and there was no need for "oh let me see if you apply for this discount". Reasonable from the start.We waited a little less than two months for the windows to be manufactured. Once we were notified they were ready they were delivered and installed within a week. Communication was great the entire time, I was kept informed and knew what to expect and when. A team of three people worked on removing and installing 12 windows. After one full day they had all the new windows in and the interior work done. The next day they were rained out yet they still tried to do what they could before they called it quits. They finished up the exterior work in half a day, so about 1.5 days total...surpassed my expectations. They did beautiful work replacing the trim around the windows, I appreciate that they touched up my stucco where necessary with paint that I supplied. I found minimal trash in my yard, a couple slices of wood here and there which was acceptable for me. No nails or other more concerning items.After two heavy rain storms the windows have held up well. When Johnson County Siding & Windows tells me I can call them any time if something isn't right with the windows I believe them and do not feel the need to have a lifetime labor warranty as part of my contract with them. Based on my experience they will do right by me.Highly recommend Johnson County Siding & Windows for window replacement!

First of all - Shoutout to Rosie for double checking everything with me and making sure we were both on the same page of what I was expecting before starting any work.Plan was to replace 2 entry doors, storm door, basement window and swap out my vinyl siding with hardie board. Had a good conversation with the sales rep and project manager on setting up expectations. Reviewed the contract and I had some clarifications to try and avoid any confusion (which they promptly said "yes it's included" and amended the contract so it was clear).Rosie and his crew showed up to do the work, reviewed the scope of work with me along with taking inventory of the materials delivered. Rosie mentioned there wasn't enough material to do what we discussed and immediately started making calls to get the extra materials.Throughout the project, his team was professional and kept me informed with what they were planning to do each day so there were no surprises.I was very impressed with the quality of materials, workmanship, courteousness, and cleanliness throughout the whole process.Just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved.
